3-Month Training for women

Samaneri Dhammananda was a regular speaker for the first month of the training.


Achaan Sulak Sivaraksa, amidst his busy schedule always made a point to avail himself to come and teach our group. Appreciated.


Ven.Pra Sripariyattimoli, one of the senior and educated monks spoke with sympathy and kindness towards the ordination of women.


Aug.10,2002 the 33rd Buddhasavika participants joined in with the 3-month training group, it was a happy time for all of them.


Ven.Pra Sripariyattimoli took a picture with some of the mae Jis and laywomen at the 3-month training. 


Mr.Theeradej, with his experience in India, and a person with a deep spiritual concern, was the right person to provide the group with Yoga practice and basic knowledge about the 5 elements and how to care for our bodies.


During the training the group had to do many activities, this is one of them, crossing the dangerous sea, the idea was to learn to work together. This was a more successful group, the other one had to repeat three times before they could cross the sea.


Associate Prof.Dr Suwanna Satha-Anand spoke on the status of women in the three major religions. The professor teaches at Chulalongkorn University, one of the leading academic light in women and religions.


Five donchees chosen from 5 different provinces in Cambodia, with Malee as their interpretor. This group was very impressive in their unity and willingness to help with community work.


Pailin (Lin) took care of the group for 2 weeks, giving them training so that they are aware of the technique of how to live together, community building, leadership training, etc. Thanks Lin.


The group learned the flower arrangement with Mae Ji Bhavinee.
